Meeting Format
Meetings: in-person meetings (approximately 2) each year that are sponsored and hosted by member companies at no cost to members; agenda focuses on a day-and-a-half of topics; meetings are attended by approximately 30 to 60 people
Virtual Discussions: began hosting online discussions (approximately 1-2) via Teams in 2020; each “NECF Chat” is scheduled for two hours; usually attended by over 100 people
Agenda Topics: truly a forum of peers – topic ideas come from NECF membership – committed to member-driven ideas and suggestions for meeting and discussion topics; the aim is to be more than just an exchange of best practices or a place to network but also a source to educate, create awareness, inspire creative critical thinking, and to identify ideas and solutions to meet compliance challenges

External Speakers: external speakers often are often invited; at past meetings they have included staff from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, North American Electric Reliability Corporation, the Department of Justice, ReliabilityFirst Corporation, the Natural Gas Association, MISO, Deloitte, and McGuireWoods
