History

Purpose

Founded in 2009, the National Energy Compliance Forum (NECF) is a voluntary energy industry organization formed to facilitate the exchange of best practice ideas among energy compliance professionals regarding compliance with rules and regulations that are specific to owners of electric transmission, gas transmission, and generation facilities

 

Regulators

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and other federal regulators such as the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Department of Energy (DOE), Energy Information Administration (EIA), etc.
